A trip to the beach!!!

Last weekend we took a road trip to our old town of Corpus Christi with some friends. We picked up Zack, Jo & Sophia at the airport and spent a long weekend hanging out! Everybody was ready to get some beach time in! This was an extra special trip since Sophia had never been to the beach before. I guess we can always say we were the very first to ever take her! With a fully loaded down SUV we made it to the hotel, got some lunch, got the kids to nap and then headed to the beach!


You would have thought Sophia was a beach regular! Nothing phased her as she fully enjoyed her time in the sand. If you zoom in on this pic you can see she is covered in sand!

She was completely comfortable cruising around on her own! Pretty cool for a one year old!

While we were in town we got to visit with some of our Corpus buddies, Adam and Danielle! We really enjoyed getting to see them! Thanks for hanging with us.

During our second day at the beach a huge military helicopter cruised by and the kiddos were totally mesmerized!

One night we had dinnner in Port A at the Crazy Cajun. They bring all the food out and just dump it on the table. We ate crawfish, shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes, crab legs, beer etc. Somehow one of these hammers made it home with Taryn.
