Well, Taryn is keeping us forever busy these days. The only time he slows down is to eat and sleep or to watch tv. The eating portion is a constant challenge around here. He has his days where he will eat everything, but the majority of the team it is only specific food items. He has given up on milk, since we moved over to real milk from formula he won't touch the stuff. He absolutely loves fruit and cheese. If you want him to eat any kind of meat it had better be covered in cheese or he simply won't touch it! I have to admit he is nice about it most times, simply saying "No, thank you" and pushing the plate away! Once he turns 3 I have vowed to try and put an end to his food issues, but I don't know how much success I will have. I figure once he can hold a real conversation then I will lay down the law. That's my gameplan, sink or swim we will see if it works.


The boy is nuts about fruit espcecially grapes. He came up with this all on his own!

Last week we went on a field trip to the zoo with our school playgroup. It was Taryn's first trip on a real bus and I haven't been on one since high school. The buses these days are a lot nicer than I remember with air conditioning and tinted windows. We both had a really good time riding the bus along with the other kiddos and parents. Taryn thought it was really cool that he got to bring his carseat! For days afterwards Taryn kept telling us, "wanna ride bus".

He is really into wearing our shoes lately. It is pretty funny to try and watch him walk once he has put a pair on. Typically he bites the dust within a few steps.
