Birthday Pics!!!


Niki and I had a small party for Taryn with just the three of us the day of his actual birthday. Taryn was very into his cupcake and candle, especially the candle. We sang him happy birthday and he was eating up every minute of it. While he would not eat any of the cupcake he loved blowing out the candle.



He blew as hard and as much as he could!


Taryn got this blanket/pillow set from Niki's nurse, Lisa and he has been sleeping with it ever since!

We had a small family gathering to celebrate Taryn's birthday and he really enjoyed it. We were very sad that Jen, Kris, Addie and Alex couldn't join us. Jen, we sang happy b-day for you, look close we even put your name on the cake! The cake and ice cream were yummy, again Taryn wanted no part of eating it. Someday he is going to figure out sweets and he will never pass them up.

Taryn got lots of help from his Aunt Grace and Uncle John opening his presents and blowing out the candles on his cake!

He was more into opening presents after this past Christmas!

I am pretty sure Taryn's favorite word/thing in the world is "ball". Anywhere we go he collects all of them and can play with them nonstop! Here he is taking a swing at a tennis ball. Quite a weird stance he uses, but he does occasionally hit the ball.

Taryn got his 2nd haircut and did a million times better than the first time. While he did put up a little bit of a fuss for the most part he remained happy.

We had lunch at Pappasito's before we came home and Taryn was definitely not a happy camper when they came to sing happy birthday to him! They brought a big sombrero for him to wear and he wanted no part of it! He was pretty warn out from the entire weekend and in fact fell asleep within a few minutes of getting in the car to head home.
