Road trip to Sherman Part 2

We stopped in the Woodlands during part 1 and visited friends, but we also picked up Gramere so she could make the rest of the trip with us. Our next stop before we got to Sherman was Dallas. We came straight into town and headed over to see April, John, Rory Cate and Tate. We got to spend all afternoon watching the boys play and spending time with April and Rory. Tate made it home from work and we got to visit with him as well. Taryn and John got along pretty well and proceeded to make a huge mess all over the house (most of the mess was of course created by Taryn). April & Tate, thanks for letting us come over and hang we really had a great time! So good to see you guys.

Sadly the only picture of Rory Cate is this portion of her head. Sorry Rory I promise to get better pics of you next time. I got to hold little Rory for a while and she was quite content to just relax in my arms. Talk about easy going... she totally goes with the flow.

The next day we headed up to Sherman for Homecoming. Sadly not a single picture was taken with my camera. It was good to see old friends and hang with the boys! Gramere and one of her best friends from college Nelda had a great time visiting with their college friends as well. It was kind of a double Homecoming because my mother went to the same college as me. Which is pretty cool because you get to meet people from all eras and listen to their stories about the same college, but from a different time.
