A trip to the Woods!

Sorry I have a handful of updates, but just can't seem to get them up in a timely fashion. Taryn has been sick again with an ear infection, but is on the mend now. When he is sick it pretty much sucks all the life force out of his here!

About a month ago now we made a trip home to the Woodlands for a Siegert family get together. The reason for the gathering was to welcome Cory home from his 4 years of military service mostly spent in Iraq and Afghanistan. Everyone was happy to have him back in Texas after being gone so long. Cory, happy to have you back and we hope you are excited about going to college in the near future!

We couldn't have had a better day to get everyone together. We all stayed outside almost the entire time and watched the kiddos run around. Nothing better than the outdoors and a little relaxation with the family.

Little Addie had a great time playing with her cousins, uncles and basically everyone. She is a huge ball of energy which nobody can seem to match. Taryn tries to chase her around, but he is just not fast enough yet! Step it up Taryn!

Addie's new little sister, Alex, was perfect all day and slept off and on almost the entire time!

Taryn was in a better mood after he got his new haircut. He loved to sweep and drink from this sippy cup! I am pretty sure he drank most of Cory's capri sun's... Cory I will be sure and put some in your stocking!

Before we headed home we made a trip to the neighborhood park by Pop and Nene's house. Taryn loves this little park, plus it is under some trees which gives us plenty of shade! Taryn and mommy had a great time playing on all the different equipment! Slides are one of Taryn and Niki's favorite park toys!
