Taryn's actual birthday party...

Two weekends ago we had a family get together with all 4 sides of the family to celebrate Taryn and Aunt Jen's Birthday. We had a really great time getting to see everyone! We wish we could do it more often. It was a beautiful day and we were able to spend most of it outdoors. Taryn for the most part did pretty well, but I think he was a little overwhelmed with all the attention he received. He got lots of hugs and kisses which he enjoyed very much, but in the end he was just plum tired out!

He was just not in the mood for cake! Maybe it was the 20 or so people all watching him that threw him off! A little stage fright I think.

A little update-

Taryn has become more mobile as of late... Ever since he learned how to pull himself up on everything he has started to crawl. Not from room to room or around the house, but in short spurts! He has also learned how to sit-up and how to sit down from a standing position rather than falling over like a tree and hurting himself. As far as walking we are down to him holding just one of our fingers as he takes us around the house! He is really doing well and keeping us forever busy when he is awake!
