A Full House!

This past weekend we had some visitors! Pop & Nene came down from the Woodlands and Jen, Kris & Addie came down from Austin for a visit. Taryn was so excited to have so many people to play with. It was so nice to have them come down and spend time with us. Having a house full of family is great. We were blessed with great weather and spent nearly all of our time outdoors!

Kris and Pop enjoyed the shade of our Oak tree in the backyard. We were outside nearly all day Saturday playing and having a little bbq!
Taryn was at full speed the entire weekend and could not get enough walking around. Here he is with Nene's help taking off down the stairs. The kid is fearless! He is sooooo close to walking.
Addie really enjoyed Taryn's swing and wanted to be pushed in it as much as possible! Pop was happy to help her out with that. Although I think she got more than she could handle.

Addie had a little too much fun in the swing. After Pop showed her what G-forces were she could not hold down her Grapes from lunch. I know, grooosss! She was not feeling so good there for a few minutes! She is not quite ready for space travel just yet!
Taryn was nothing but smiles the whole weekend. He gave Pop a big Hug!
Pop and Nene brought some goodies for Taryn and Addie. Taryn absolutely loves his ball. We kick it, bounce it and throw it around the house. He has even started to do some sign language and has learned how to sign "Ball".

We had an early Easter egg hunt since we weren't going to see everyone for Easter this year. Taryn found his very first Easter egg. He saw it plopped down in the grass and crawled right to it!

He loved playing with the eggs. He would scream and wave them around and then eat them!

Addie had a really good hunt. In fact she had so many eggs she had to off load them into Taryn's basket to make room for more! Way to go Addie! Jen brought Easter baskets for the kids. Addie got an Elmo basket and Taryn got a Turtle! Here she is concentrating really hard on finding that next egg!
Saturday evening we went to the Park so that Addie could play. Everyone had fun playing while Kris and I went for a run. She especially liked this rocking horse. She saw some ducks at the pond and wanted to feed them, but we forgot to bring any bread. Next time Addie!
