Happy Birthday Aunt Megan!!!

Taryn wanted to wish you a very happy Birthday. Although he could not actually say it I know he is wanting to and someday he will call you on the phone and wish you a Happy Birthday! He misses you very much and hopes to see you really soon. He says not to work too hard and he hopes you get everything you want on your special day!

Not much to report around here so far this week... Other than we have pretty much been stuck inside because of all the rain we have been getting (no walks in the park) and on top of that we have been without air conditioning for the past 2 days, but with all the rain there has been cooler weather which has made it bearable. Taryn especially enjoyed sitting on the back porch during the rainstorms the past two days and the A/C man was able to get us up and running this morning!

We have a busy weekend coming up as we are off to the Woodlands to visit family and wish Uncle Cory well as his unit prepares to ship out to Iraq. Here is a pic of Cory back at Christmas 2004 when he was I think just finished up with boot camp...? Has it been that long? Taryn can't wait to meet you along with everyone else!

Here are a couple of pics of Taryn trying out the swing that he is borrowing from his cousin Addison. He enjoys the swing and all its sounds and motions. The other day he actually fell asleep in here and when Mommy and Daddy came to check on him he was all slumped over to one side in a very uncomfortable (borderline dangerous) looking position. I don't think we should let him sleep in there anymore...



Daddy and Taryn enjoying the Mavs game last night!!! Although Mommy doesn't like it Taryn is quite attracted to the Television sometimes. Taryn enjoyed watching the Mavs squeak out a win to stay alive last night. I think I have finally got someone in this house who is going to enjoy watching some sports with me!
