Niki's First Mother's Day...

Once again Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's out there. We enjoyed getting to speak with "all" of our mother's yesterday and wish we could have spent the day with all of you! We had a pretty quiet day around the house as Niki was on-call so we could not really do much. Mostly Niki just wanted to spend time with Taryn before the work week started up again.
Grandmere (pronounced Gra-Mare, at least in our house) brought Taryn a little present last week just in time for summer. That's right his first swimsuit along with hat and sunglasses! He is one cool looking dude! While I was preparing a Mother's Day BBQ, Niki helped Taryn to try on his new duds. We were able to take a few good photos before dinner time and before a nap for Taryn. This little outfit is all from Target if anyone needs one. We also found some really cute swim stuff at Old Navy which was on sale on their website...

Taryn is officially ready to hit the Kiddie Pool! We plan on taking him to a water babies class once he turns 6 months old. Daddy is going to try and find a matching speedo so Taryn and he can be twinkies... In the meantime our neighbors have invited us over to their pool which we will probably do soon and we also have a nice pool not too far away that is open to the public!
